Areej Al-Saffar graduated from South Thames College in Design and Making of jewellery in 1998 and has been creating collections since then.

Her collections are infused with architectural and cultural influences. She uses a variety of textures especially with silver wire. She also does a range of jewellery that is enamelled. Her work is mainly in silver with gold detailing (or gold-plated silver) and semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls.
