I studied Fine Art in South Africa where I grew up but it wasn't until I did an illustration course here in London, that I discovered just how much I love working in paper collage. I am very much inspired by Africa, particularly the wild animals and vibrant colours and textures. Photography is another influence and the way in which images are cropped so focussing the viewer's eye. I am currently working on a children's book about a dog called Orbit.
