I’m interested in the transience of things and the subjective nature of time. There is beauty in the ravages of time and there is sly humour in the moment: I try to capture both of these on film. My aim is to keep the mystery alive. We are drowning in a sea of perfect images that inspire fantasies of glamour and wealth. These images disguise the true passage of our existence, which is what I celebrate in my pictures. People, who have their own style, and charisma, at that moment, and the associated symbolic objects are what fuel my passion for the everyday extraordinary.
