My interest in glass started in 1997 and as a material it has fascinated me ever since. My work addresse and explores construction and connection, pieces working together as a group but individual and the way that multiples can address scale.

I like taking the simplest form of glass (sheet glass) and applying effective glass techniques to make simple yet visually stimulating pieces of work. I love the qualities of sheet glass and how it changes when texture is applied by slumping and fusing. I prefer the purity of clear glass, it has an amazing quality of holding and emitting light as if it is trapped inside.
