Niko trained and completed his goldsmith's diploma in Athens, 1988, and developed his skills working at the hub of the Greek jewellery trade. With a view of the classical Acropolis from his window, Niko's personal style is often a blend of ancient forms in a modern context.
As a contrast to city life, Niko spent a number of years on the island of Zakynthos, establishing his own workshop and developing his design, commission and repair work there.
In 2004, Niko moved to England and has been based at Redlees since September 2005. Along with commission pieces made to order, he has been developing a range of designs in silver which will be displayed at Open Studio events and exhibitions.
Niko welcomes individual commissions in gold or silver and also offers a quality jewellery repair and cleaning service. He will work with client's own ideas or designs, tailoring them to their own price range. He is always happy to offer advice and estimates without obligation.
