Anna Milgrom
Anna is an innovative mixed media artist whose practice explores organic forms through her life drawing and the interplay of science, myth and storytelling in her 3d work.
With over 12 years experience running life drawing workshops and private tutoring, Anna champions experimental and expressive techniques, inspiring participants of all levels to embrace individual creativity and develop a freer approach to mark-making. Her workshops combine traditional and contemporary methods and are ideal for those seeking to unlock their artistic potential. Please email her directly for more info about the life drawing workshops. annamilgrom@gmail.com
Anna also offers private tutoring for portfolio development and this is recent feedback: "My son has absolutely thrived under Anna’s guidance. She brings such warmth, enthusiasm, and encouragement to every session. It’s been incredible to see his confidence and creativity blossom. Anna has a real gift for nurturing talent while making learning fun and inspiring. I’m so grateful for the impact she’s had and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any parent looking to support their child’s artistic development." Kay Lear mother of Year 10 student
In her own creative work, Anna blends poetic, intellectual, and kitsch elements across both 2D and 3D mediums.
Her 2D pieces are crafted on paper, using charcoal, pastels, collage, and watercolors to depict the human form, landscapes, and botanical themes. Her 3D objects/assemblages become modern-day chimeras that lean into ideas around DNA manipulation and storytelling while retaining a playful, kitsch aesthetic. They also incorporate the application of Kintsugi.
With a Higher Diploma in Restoration & Conservation, a professional background in business and 15 years as a child carer, Anna brings a unique perspective to her artistic journey. She is available for workshops, private tutoring, ceramic restoration, kintsugi and collaborative discussions for artistic projects.
