My work explores the ways we encounter and interpret different forms of 'Protection', in order to create a safe path through life. The natural world is important and inspires me, and when possible I am out and about, observing and making sketches. Back in the studio, I use these visual references and make relief and 3D work that, at their core, are concerned with the senses, in particular Touch.
