Joanna Waddy

Joanna Waddy is a Richmond based glass artist specialising in kiln-formed glass, both fused and moulded.

Joanna has studied glass techniques locally a Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College for over 10 years and has exhibited with Just Glass at Orleans House gallery, The Malthouse Gallery in Lyme Regis, Morley College and other locations.

​

 

She also sells at People Hive, Twickenham, a community hub supporting adults with learning disabilities and promoting local artists.

​

 

Joanna is inspired by the styles and colours of the ‘Arts and Crafts’ and ‘Art Deco’ movements. She likes to explore different techniques but is drawn to using Pate de Verre (powdered glass) to create insects and flowers decorations on her work.
