CREATIVE MILE: Brentford Art Trail
Evening launch Friday 3 September 6-9PM
Saturday, 4 September 11-5 PM
Sunday, 5 September 11-5 PM
The artists from Redlees Studios will join an exciting new art event, inspired by Brentford-based artist Mark Pearce and Robin Vaughan-Williams of Creative Net-work West, and supported by the Creative Enterprise Zone.
Creative Mile will showcase, in the heart of Brentford, the remarkable wealth of artistic talent available in the borough, in a series of pop-up galleries, studios, open venues and Museums. Open air music, poetry, food and a touch of history will enrich the mind as well as the body.
As it meanders alongside the Thames, Creative Mile not only offers visitors inspiration (and the opportunity to make a shrewd acquisition), it also affords them a rare glimpse of Brentford’s industrial past as well as a snapshot of today’s vibrant, creative riverside community.
Redlees Studios will be showing an eclectic mix of fine art, sculpture, photography, ceramics, textiles, mixed media and jewellery, in an industrial space transformed for the occasion into a gallery, at the Brentford Project (Ballymore Event Space), Venue 7 on the art trail map, in Catherine Wheel Road. Look out for our signs and banners.
We are in Venue 7 on the art trail map!!
