Nicki Rolls

About

I create drawings and paintings of wild flowers and weeds, exploring the resilience and fragility of the natural world. I am currently working on a residency at Northcote Nature Reserve in Isleworth, and on the tidal section of the River Crane. I am working in different media, including large-scale works in charcoal, hand made inks, oil paint, metal and wax, creating drawings, paintings and sculpture in response to the plants from along the river and nature reserve.
