Nicki Rolls
I create drawings and paintings of wild flowers and weeds, exploring the resilience and fragility of the natural world. I work in different media, including large-scale works in charcoal, hand made inks, oil paint, metal and wax in response to the plants found growing wild, mainly along local rivers and at Northcote Nature Reserve.
Shortlisted for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize in 2023
